📌 Important July 1st Updates for Small Businesses

A new financial year brings some important changes that all small business owners; and ITA members should be aware of.

A new financial year has begun, bringing several important updates that all small businesses—and ITA members—need to know:

✅ Superannuation Guarantee to 12%

From 1 July 2025, the Superannuation Guarantee rate increased from 11.5% to 12%. Find out more Ensure your payroll software and cash flow are updated to avoid underpayment.

✅ National Minimum Wage Rise

The national minimum wage has increased by approximately 3.5%, with award minimums updated accordingly. Find out more . Check your employment awards to stay compliant.

✅ Energy Bill Rebates for Small Businesses

Eligible Victorian small businesses can now receive a $150 energy rebate from 1 July 2025, applied in two $75 instalments. Find out more .

✅ Other Financial & Administrative Updates
