Discover the Story Behind Inverloch’s Best Bits
The Inverloch Tourism Association (ITA) is thrilled to share the story behind our Inverloch Best Bits video campaign — a celebration of what makes our town truly special.
Earlier this year, the ITA was successful in securing a grant to create a series of short, engaging video clips that showcase some of the best bits of a visit to Inverloch:
Immersing yourself in nature
Walking along our stunning coastline
Spending quality time with friends and family
Enjoying the boutique shopping and café culture
Taking the time to rest, recharge, and simply breathe
These clips are all about inspiring people to want to visit Inverloch and to come back again and again. and our key call to action for the campaign is to drive visitors to the Visit Inverloch website. There, people can explore more of what Inverloch offers, read about your individual businesses, plan and book their coastal getaway, and map out the experiences that will make their visit unforgettable.
Inspired by Visit Victoria’s Every Bit Different
The Best Bits idea takes its cue from Visit Victoria’s Every Bit Different brand campaign, which recognises that it’s the collection of experiences in a destination that ultimately compels visitors to choose it — and to return. In Inverloch, those experiences are as diverse as they are memorable, and we wanted to capture that magic on film.
A Community Effort
This campaign has been made possible thanks to incredible community generosity. A large part of the cost has been covered by:
Volunteer talent appearing in the clips
Many hours of unpaid project management from ITA members
Videography and creative input from Sam at Yewa Films, a talented local filmmaker offering his services at a below-market rate as he builds his business
Their contribution means we’ve been able to produce professional, high-quality clips that truly reflect Inverloch’s charm.
Looking Ahead
So far, the campaign has been warmly received, and we’re hoping to secure further funding to:
Produce additional clips
Strategically place them where they’ll reach a broad visitor audience
Expand into still photography and print campaigns
Involve more ITA members in the storytelling process
Align even more closely with Visit Victoria’s Every Bit Different campaign
