A Beautiful Milestone for Zen Nail Design

Celebrating 1 Year of Zen Nails Inverloch & 11 Years of Lesa Nails Wonthaggi.

This month marks not one, but two special milestones for local nail lovers Zen Nails Inverloch celebrates its 1st birthday, and its sister salon, Lesa Nails in Wonthaggi, turns 11! 💖

Behind both these much-loved businesses is the incredible Sa, whose dedication, heart and talent have made her a staple in the beauty world of Bass Coast. Many locals know her warm smile, gentle touch, and the stunning results she delivers — but what you may not know is the touching story behind how Zen Nails came to be.

Over 20 years ago, Sa met Helen, a local from Inverloch and a fellow nail tech, who became one of her most loyal customers and dear friends. Every time Helen sat in Sa’s chair, she would say, “You should move to Inverloch!” For years, that dream stayed in Sa’s heart — until life took an unexpected turn. When Helen was diagnosed with breast cancer, Sa made the journey from Melbourne to Inverloch regularly — not just as a nail technician, but as a friend. She would visit, care for her, and yes, still do her nails.

Eventually, Sa and her family made the move to the Bass Coast, but at the time, there were no shops available in Inverloch. Instead, she opened Lesa Nails in Wonthaggi, which quickly became a beloved go-to for locals.

Fast forward several years, and Sa’s dream of opening in Inverloch finally came true when a vacant shop became available. One year ago, Zen Nails Design opened its doors, offering the same expert services and warmth that customers had come to know and love in Wonthaggi — right in the heart of Inverloch. From flawless manicures and waxing to their fabulous hot rock pedicure, the team at Zen Nails creates a calm, welcoming experience with results that shine.

"The best nail salon experience I’ve ever had — friendly, professional, and I always leave feeling pampered!" – Happy Customer

Whether you want to treat yourself or spoil a friend, Zen nails is the perfect place to indulge in a little luxury while supporting a local business built on care, passion, and connection.

So pop in, say hello, and raise a (well-manicured) hand to Sa, Steven and the incredible story that brought Zen Nails to Inverloch.
