Get ready to dust off your broomsticks and fire up your cauldrons, the Great Witch Hunt is back this October 2025, and now’s the time to sign up!

This fun, shire-wide community event runs throughout the month of October to celebrate the spooky spirit of Halloween while shining a spotlight on our incredible local Bass Coast businesses , including YOU.

Here’s how it works:

• For just $85, your business can join the hunt.

• You’ll be given a witch to display throughout October , the more creative and eye-catching, the better!

• Visitors purchase a hunt ticket and map, which guides them to participating businesses as they try to spot all the witches.

• All participating businesses are listed on the official map, which means extra exposure and a great opportunity to attract new customers.

Run by the dedicated volunteers of the Grantville Business Association, this annual initiative has proven to be a light-hearted, engaging way to boost foot traffic, promote local shopping, and create a sense of shared community spirit across the Bass Coast.
