Just a short drive from Inverloch, Wonthaggi has its own stories to tell, places to discover, food and coffee to enjoy, events to experience and plenty of local businesses and a community worth getting to know.

So we're excited to introduce Visit Wonthaggi, a new digital guide created to help you discover more of what's happening in this neighbouring Bass Coast town.

The website is still growing, new businesses and experiences are being added but there's already plenty to explore. From the history and stories of the State Coal Mine to local cafés, events, shops, nature and experiences, it's another reason to add a little more adventure to your Inverloch stay. You may want to add a Paintball or Axe Throwing Experience at Bass Coast Paint Ball, another round of golf at The Wonthaggi Golf Club, have your nails done Lesa Nails or find that new chilled outfit from Saltwater Soul (Surf & Streetwear)….. just as a start.

The idea is simple: stay longer, explore further and discover more of our region.
