Venus Bay Angling Club 2026 Fishing Competitions

Join the Venus Bay Angling Club for a series of exciting monthly fishing competitions from July to December 2026. Whether you're a seasoned angler or trying your luck for the first time, these family-friendly events offer great prizes, a welcoming community atmosphere, BBQ gatherings, raffles, and monthly jackpots.

Competition Dates:

🎣 10–12 July 2026
🎣 14–16 August 2026
🎣 11–13 September 2026
🎣 9–11 October 2026
🎣 30 October – 2 November 2026
🎣 4–6 December 2026

Competition Hours: Commences 6:00am Friday and concludes 3:00pm on the final day.

Prizes

🏆 1st Prize: $100 Voucher – Inverloch Fishing & Outdoors
🏆 2nd Prize: $50 Voucher – Riverview Hotel

Saturday Night BBQ

🔥 6:00pm at Gerald's Shed - Sausages and chicken supplied by the club. Participants are encouraged to bring a salad or sweet to share.

Entry Fees

• Members: Free, Visitors: $5 Competition Entry, Visitors: $5 BBQ Contribution

Non-members wishing to enter should contact a committee member prior to the commencement of the competition.
