Guest Speakers

🦖 Jake Kotevski (@theropods_down_under)

An Australian palaeontologist and PhD candidate at Monash University’s Evans EvoMorph Lab, Jake specialises in the theropod dinosaurs of Cretaceous Victoria — a diverse record of small to medium-sized Gondwanan predators.
A lifelong dinosaur lover from the “Jurassic Park generation,” Jake has participated in numerous digs across the Bass Coast, collaborated with the Bass Coast Dinosaur Trail team, and developed expertise in the Megaraptoridae group. He brings enthusiasm, deep scientific insight, and a passion for analysing Australia’s ancient predators.
