• School 2: January 15, 16 & 17, 2026

About the Event:
Join the South Gippsland Yacht Club Sail School for an Introduction to Off-the-Beach Sailing course. This hands-on program includes one-on-one coaching in club boats, on-shore demonstrations, and theory sessions. All skill levels are welcome, including capable children. Participants must be water confident and able to swim at least 25 meters.

Duration: 12 hours over 2 days
Maximum Class Size: 12 people
Safety Gear: Provided

Learning Outcomes:

• Rig and launch a dinghy

• Sail a triangular course

• Return safely to shore

• Pack up the boat under instructor guidance

Fees: $250 (includes temporary SGYC membership and discounted joining options)
Benefits: Membership provides free access to club boats for practice.
