Wildlife of the Night – Spotlighting in Inverloch

Discover Inverloch’s nocturnal wildlife on a guided night walk, spotting koalas, gliders, owls and more in their natural habitat.

Join an experienced Education Officer from Bunurong Coast Education for a guided evening adventure exploring the bush after dark. Learn about local nocturnal species and use spotlighting techniques to search for wildlife including Strzelecki koalas, possums, wombats, owls and microbats.

The experience includes an introduction and safety briefing before heading to the nearby reserve for an easy, family-friendly night walk. Keep your eyes peeled—every walk offers something different.

  • Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult

  • Bring a torch and wear warm, weather-appropriate clothing
